Restaurant Fire in Feasterville (01/11/16) Box 1-20

700 Block of Bustleton Pike - 0030 hours
Dispatched as an alarm system at the Hong Kong Buffet , police arrived with smoke showing. Interior crews located fire in the kitchen with extension into the roof area. Companies were in service for an extended period. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Lower Southampton Fire Marshal's office.

Brookwood House Fire (01/17/16) Box 28-5

300 Block of Parkview Drive - 0450 hours
Deputy 28 arrived on scene with fire showing from a 2 strory single family dwelling. Ladder 65 arrived first on scene and went in service with an 1 3/4 attack line and opened up the roof. The fire was contained to the bedroom on the second floor. The cause of the fire is under investigation by Bensalem Township Fire Rescue.

 
 

Morning House Fire in Parkland (03/03/16) Box 9-21

800 Block of Walsh Ave - 0915 hours
Chief 8 arrived on scene reporting a working fire and established command. E65's crew assisted the interior crew on the initial attack line as well as assisted R8 with opening the roof. No injuries were reported and the investigation is being conducted by the Middletown Township FMO.

Fatal Motel Fire (05/15/16) Box 65-28

2277 Lincoln Hwy - 0231 hours
Deputy 65 arrived on scene with heavy smoke showing from a two story motel , and reports of entrapment. Crews reported heavy fire on the first floor and a burn victim. 3 hotel guests were also rescued and treated by ems for smoke inhalation and 1 victim was found deceased. Bensalem FMO has ruled arson as the cause of the fire.

Andalusia House Fire (05/21/16) Box 16-2

1100 block of Tennis Ave - 0231 hours
Deputy 37 arrived on scene reporting heavy fire showing from a 3 story single family dwelling. Crews were in service with multiple hand lines. During fireground operations a mayday was transmitted when Nottingham firefighter Nick Weaver fell from the roof. Nick was transported with back injuries and facial lacerations to Aria Torresdale by Bensalem EMS and later transferred to Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. Bensalem FMO is investigating the cause of the fire.

Firefighter Weaver Released From Hospital (05/24/16)

It is with great pleasure that we announce firefighter Nick Weaver has been released from Jefferson hospital. The Nottingham Fire Department and the Weaver family thank you for all of the support and well wishes over the past week. A fund has been established to help firefighter Weaver and his family.

Neshaminy Valley Apartment Fire (06/14/16) Box 88-15

1500 block of Neshaminy Valley Drive - 1251 hours
Battalion 44 arrived on scene with smoke showing from side C of a 2 story apartment building and established Newport Command. E222 crew reported heavy fire with extension into the roof area. L65 opened up the roof upon arrival. 4 apartments were damaged , The cause of the fire is under investigation by Bensalem Township Fire Rescue.

Dance Studio Fire (07/11/16) Box 28-9

2800 block of Atlantic Ave- 10:45 hours
Special Service 222 arrived on scene with smoke showing from the roof area. BC222 established command upon arrival and ordered E222 to establish a water supply and pull an 1 3/4 water line, and Ladder 65 was sent to vent the roof. Approximately 12 children that were attending a summer dance class were quickly and safely evacuated by staff. No injuries were reported. Bensalem Fire Investigators determined the cause of the fire was accidental in nature.

 
 

Linconia Dwelling Fire (07/18/16) Box 4-5


4400 block of Somerton Rd- 11:47 hours
Special Service 222 arrived on scene with smoke showing from a one story dwelling. BC222 established command and placed E222 in service with an 1" 3/4 attack line and L65 in service to the roof. Bensalem FMO is investigating the cause of the fire.

NFD Open House Costume Party 10/28/16

Thank You to all of our friends, families and members of our local community that came out Friday night for our halloween themed open house & costume party. Also thank you to all of local businesses and organizations that made donations or spent the evening with us. All money raised from the sale of food, lemonade and raffle tickets will be donated to the Alex's lemonade stand charity in the name of the Nottingham Fire Department. Thank you for your support.
